Where?
Utopia Padel will be based at the Copdock & Washbrook Tennis & Badminton Club, on the playing fields, next to the old A12 on the outskirts of Ipswich. This is next to Copdock and OIs Cricket Club.
Not only is it easy to get to from Ipswich, it is close to the A12/A14 junction, ideal for those travelling from other parts of Suffolk or Essex.
The community location offers ample parking, changing rooms and a place to relax after playing. The views are not bad either and you may catch some excellent cricket in the summer months if you are lucky!
When?
Planning permission has been granted and the court has been ordered. The installation date will be confirmed before Christmas.
If this goes to our expected time-scales, we anticipate opening to the public in late January/early February 2025.

Padel is a sport that is so popular because it is easy to play, appealing to those who have never played racket sports before as well as those who have.
